We have a few spots left in our first "reopening" program.  Please note that this first program is for those aged 16+.  Pre-registration is REQUIRED to allow for proper distancing.  There is no registration fee, but donations are appreciated.
Friday, July 17th @ 8:30 PM
Eventide at Helmer is a Naturalist led nighttime walk on the Helmer Nature Center trails.  Grab your flashlight, explore the trails and see what our nocturnal animals are up to each night.  Bring a chair or blanket to stay a bit later and enjoy some star gazing if the weather cooperates.  If it is visible, we may also try to see comet NEOWISE.

To register for the program, email Andrea Monahan, andrea_monahan@westiron.monroe.edu
BTW -- Even if you cannot attend our program, you can keep an eye out for the comet at home.  Check out the link below for more information.
