Be part of something big! Great Backyard Bird Count at Helmer

Have you ever wanted to learn about identifying the birds that live all around us?  This weekend and FREE of charge, Katrina Relyea will we leading an introductory birding class and birding walk for adults at the Helmer Nature Center.  It is an early morning, but it gives you and us the opportunity to be part of something bigger -- the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC).
The Great Backyard Bird Count is an international citizen science project whose aim is to track bird movements around the world.  To learn more about the project, check out their website:  gbbc.birdcount.org

Pre-registration is required for this event and spots are limited.  Here are the details:

TIME:  7:30 - 9:30 AM
