Although West Irondequoit CSD does not qualify to host a summer meals program, our students may receive food at other local schools as part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food program. We've partnered with nearby districts that are able to provide FREE SUMMER MEALS for children 18 and under. ID and registration is not necessary and there are no income requirements.

Free-and-Reduced for 2023-24

For the 2023-24 school year, families must fill out a free-and-reduced meal form in order to receive free breakfast/lunch benefits for their children. Those who do NOT qualify must pay for meals. Meal prices will be:

  • K-12 breakfast: $1.80
  • K-12 lunch: $2.95

If you submitted an application in 2022-23 and were approved, your child will receive benefits through October 20, 2023. A new application must be submitted an approved to receive benefits after that. The 2023-24 Free and Reduced Meal Application will be available online this summer on the district website under Food Services and will also be in the annual “Back to School” edition of The Quote newsletter mailed to all families (and online).
