Board of Education meetings now at IHS; next one, Thurs., Jan. 7
Posted on 01/06/2021

Thursday, Jan. 7th – 7 p.m. at Irondequoit HS

West Irondequoit CSD Board of Education meetings are held at Irondequoit High School’s Campus Center (small cafeteria), and the public is once again welcome to attend in person. Since mid-March (2020), meetings were closed due for safety reasons during the COVID-19 pandemic and the District offered access to public comment via Zoom Video Conferencing.

Meetings will be recorded and posted on the District website. WICSD will monitor and limit capacity in the Campus Center, if necessary, to make sure meetings adhere to the state’s most recent safety guidelines on public gatherings.

Those attending board meetings should enter at the back entrance (pool entrance/door #5) at IHS. If you wish to speak during public comment, please indicate so when you sign in. You will be called to speak in the order that you signed in. To ensure respect to the people and process involved, the Board requires speakers adhere to the following conditions:

1) Wear a face covering/mask and complete a health screen form

2) Not make any comments related to a personnel matter. Written statements related to personnel matters can be submitted to the District Clerk.

3) When asked, come forward and sit at the table designated for public comment and state your name and address for the record. Your remarks are limited to three minutes.

4) Place your written comments or additional materials in the folder on the table.

We ask that all comments be respectful, relevant and timely. Comments that are a re-statement of previous views made by the same speaker, personal attacks or allegations could result in the speaker being asked to stop, within the parameters of the District Code of Conduct.
