ParentSquare

ParentSquare (PSQ) is a unified communications platform designed to keep parents/guardians informed while encouraging greater engagement and connection with West Irondequoit CSD. Our district will begin using this for the 2026-27 school year.  With PSQ, you'll receive all district and school communications in one place and translated into your preferred language -- whether by email, text, the PSQ app or web. You'll also be able to: 

  • Stay up to date on news and events
  • Fill out forms and permission slips
  • View upcoming events & photos 
  • Sign up for conferences and volunteer opportunities

Our teachers will let you know to start the school year if they plan to use PSQ this year. To get the most out of PSQ, we invite you to download its mobile app.

How it Works

  • All District and building information for the 2026-27 school year will be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text.
  • There is no need to register to receive communications from West Irondequoit unless you want a more customized, interactive experience. Even if you do not activate your account, you'll still receive our communications. However, if you do register, YOU can control how and when you receive communications such as emails, text messages, in-app notifications, etc.

How to Register Your Account

  • Go to www.parentsquare.com and click “Sign In.” 
  • Type in your email or cell phone number.
  • You will get prompted to register your account.

Register to Customize Your Account

If you would like to get more out of PSQ:

  • Download the free PSQ app for iOS and Android devices
  • Choose when you receive messages (instant or digest)
  • Interact with the person who is sending messages (Note: PSQ bought “Remind” so that app is no longer available)
