The West Irondequoit Central School District Business Office is responsible for the fiscal management needed to support the district's mission and core commitments. One of the office's most important functions is developing the proposed school budget for the consideration of the district's Board of Education and voters. Towards that it engages in budget management, planning, and future forecasting.
West Irondequoit CSD Business Office is responsible for accounting, auditing, benefits coordination, capital projects coordination, contract negotiations, facility use coordination, payroll, and purchasing.

James Brennan, Assistant Superintendent for Finance, also supervises the following departments in coordination with their respective Directors/leaders:

- Food Service
- Safety and Security
- Helmer Nature Center
- Student registration, residency and serves as the homeless liaison.
