Choristers Performances, Events, & Opportunities
2025-2026

All performances (including dress rehearsal for Major Work) are mandatory.  Students will get last-minute details in class about each performance including call times, warm ups, etc. during the week prior to each concert.

Students will receive detailed information about formal concert wear in the second or third week of school.  We will wear formal concert attire in our December, April, and May concerts.

For our October concert we will wear casual attire; we will be wearing matching Choristers T-shirts that will be available for purchase at the beginning of the year.

Other opportunities (optional)

November 7 & 8       Jr. High Area All-State Festival Chorus (grades 7-9)

November 21 & 22    Sr. High Area All-State Festival Chorus (grades 10-12)

            For both Area All-State Festivals, you must have performed a solo at last spring’s NYSSMA solo festival, you must have the dates available and you need to have applied (through your teacher) last June.  Students will be hearing details about these festivals in late August and early September if accepted.

March 13 & 14              Sr. High All-County Chorus (grades 9-12)

            For the All-County Festival you will need to audition and/or apply.  Students will be getting information about this opportunity in October/November in choir rehearsals and will need to communicate their interest to Mrs. Graham at that time.

April/May TBA         NYSSMA Vocal Solo Festival
