Focus Group perspectives that included students, families, staff, and community members have informed our foundational work with the District’s Strategic Planning Steering Committee. Community Design Day builds on this momentum and will be an interactive opportunity to share ideas, including priorities related to teaching, learning, belonging, student wellness and community partnerships. Here’s a brief outline of the day:

  • Light breakfast and opening remarks
  • Small-group conversations led by District staff and students
  • Lunch, including a gallery walk highlighting ideas generated that morning
  • Closing reflections

“Our Strategic Plan is strongest when it’s shaped collectively, and Community Design Day creates the space for meaningful collaboration,” said Superintendent, Aaron Johnson. “Listening to our community ensures that the priorities set truly represent the hopes and needs of our students, families and staff.”

Information gathered will be reviewed with other community input to finalize our next five-year Strategic Plan. The plan’s anticipated release is mid-spring 2026. We hope you can join us. For planning purposes, please RSVP/Register via this form.
