Over the past three years, our “Irondequoit Icy Eagles” team has raised $28,880 for Special Olympics NY at the annual Rochester Polar Plunge (watch videos), and our district is gearing up for this year’s event! Irondequoit has fielded the largest school team over the past two years and we hope to do the same for the Plunge’s new “Cool School Challenge.” It’s happens 4 PM on Friday, Jan. 30th at Nazareth University, where students will plunge into a new cold tank (video)!
