TRANSPORTATION

DELAYS

If the arrival time at West Irondequoit Schools is delayed, all transportation pick ups will be delayed by the same amount of time. The dismissal time will remain the same as regular school days. Kindergarten: A.M. classes will follow the delay for pick up and will be dismissed at the usual time. P.M. kindergarten will not be affected by the delay.

Transportation to and from regular school sessions is provided for resident pupils who live within the following mileage limits as measured between school and home by the nearest available route (public highway):

Grades K-3 All students
Grades 4-6 More than 1.5 miles
Grades 7-8 More than 2 miles
Grades 9-12 More than 3 miles
