Foolish Question

I met a Turkey Gobbler

When I went out to play.

Oh, Mr. Turkey Gobbler,

How are you today?

GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GOBBLE

That I can not say

Don't ask me such a question

On Thanksgiving Day!

A Squirrel's Thanksgiving

A squirrel was sitting

Near a tree,

Eating his dinner contentedly.

He didn't have turkey

and dressing but,

He cracked and nibbled

A big brown nut.

He choose a dinner, I would say,

Just right for a squirrel

On Thanksgiving Day.

I Wouldn't

There's a mouse house

In the hall wall

With a small door

By the hall floor

Where the fat cat

Sits all day,

Sits that way

All day,

Every day.

Just to say,

"Come out and play"

To the nice mice

In the mouse house

With the small door

By the hall floor.

And do they

Come out and play

When the fat cat

Asks them to?

Well, would you?

The Wishbone

Wishbone, wishbone on a dish,

pick it up and make a wish.

If I pull the wishbone right,

I will get my wish tonight.

Wishbone, wishbone will I win?

Will I laugh and clap and grin?

When the wishbone snaps in two,

Will my wishbone wish come true?

Wishbone, wishbone now it snaps,

my sister grins and laughs and claps.

Wishbone, wishbone I don't laugh

my sister got the bigger half.

Vegetables

Vegetables are good for you!

They make you strong, and healthy too!

If you eat them everyday,

"I feel so good!"

is what you'll say.

Carrots, corn, string beans too.

All of these are good for you!
