Parts of a Reference Source

Chapter is a main division of a book.

Copyright is the exclusive legal right to reproduce, publish and sell the medium.

Copyright Page is on the back (verso) of the Title Page.

Glossary is a like dictionary that lists key words limited to the body of the book and their definitions. It is located in the back of the book.

Index lists key words and the page number(s) where they are found. It is arranged in alphabetical order and located at the back of the book.

Table of Contents lists the chapters and their beginning page numbers.  It is arranged in order of appearance and located in the front of the book.

Title Page gives the distinguishing name (title), author and publisher and sometimes the date of publication and is located at the front of the book.
