West Irondequoit holds kindergarten orientations

The West Irondequoit Central School District (WICSD) announces the kindergarten orientation and registration schedule for the 2007-08 school year. Children who will be five years of age on or before December 1, 2007 and live within the district are eligible to attend school in September 2007.

Parents are invited to attend one of the following orientation sessions:

Tuesday, February 27 at Seneca School

Thursday, March 1 at Brookview School

Tuesday, March 6 at Listwood School

Wednesday, March 7 at Colebrook School

Thursday, March 8 at Briarwood and Southlawn Schools

Sessions will be held from 7-8 p.m.

Building principals and kindergarten teachers will describe the kindergarten program and answer any questions parents may have. Registration packets will be distributed. The same orientation program will be conducted at each of the sites listed. Parents are encouraged to attend the session most convenient for them. Parents and their children will be invited to orientation sessions in May, at which time students will have an opportunity to ride a school bus.
