West Irondequoit PTSA offers summer scholarships

Students at Dake Junior High School and Irondequoit High School who have a special interest in math, science or technology are eligible to apply for a new scholarship.

The scholarship may be used for a camp, conference or seminar but the program must be related to the sciences. The activity must take place during the summer of 2007. There are six scholarships available to cover the tuition or program entry fee up to $100.00 per student.

Applications, along with a list of suggested programs and resources, are available at www.wicptsa.org. Forms must be postmarked by May 4, 2007.
