Did you know all birds have feathers? Also all birds have hard shelled eggs.  They also have one beak. They also have two legs and feet.  All birds can see much better than people including animals. They have good sense of  hearing . Also all birds are vertebrates {animals with back bones.}

    Did you ever hear of the broad-tailed hummingbird? The broad-tailed hummingbird nests in the rocky mounts. The broad-tailed hummingbird colors are green, black, purple and white.  The broad-tailed hummingbird  feeds on n from flowers. The size of the broad-tailed hummingbird is 4-4 1/2 inches. The  weight  of the male hummingbird is 3.6 grams and the female is 1.6 grams .  The wing beat is  22-78 wing movements  per second.  The shape of its nest is like a woven cup.  It is made of  lichen and plant down. 

   The broad-tailed hummingbird migrates to the mounts of Mexico.  The amounts of eggs is around two per year. The color of the  is white. The size of the egg  is the size of a black I pea.

        The other facts about the broad-tailed hummingbird are:  They have a specialized skeletal  structure. The broad-tailed hummingbird can hover forward and backward while it drinks a flower.  Also the broad-tailed hummingbird belongs to the Trochilidae family of birds, witch contains the smalls birds in the world.
