HOT LISTS FOR TEACHERS

Looking for quality sites for students to use?  Try these hot lists containing Internet sites which have been pre-selected for their high quality and reliability.  Lists like like these can shortcut your own Internet search!

Kathy Shrock's Guide for Educators -  An extensive list of sites, regularly updated and carefully screened.

Educational Resources on the Web - This list includes a useful set of teacher-tool sites.  Some subject areas are better covered than others, but overall, the list is useful.

KidInfo - This site is definitely worth looking at.  The links are consistantly working (at least as of this writing) and selected with students in mind.

Nancy Donohue's Educational Resources - Subjects are clearly divided and subdivided for easy searching.

Education Index - The sites listed here lean more toward high school than primary grades.  Very nicely organized, well annotated, comprehensive and a pleasure to use.

Search and Subjects - This government maintained site provides a subject index to the content on government sponsored web sites...like NASA, National Science Foundation, CIA, Department of Education, NIH, etc.
