Introduction to FrontPage 2000
Based in part on Information Technology Services Tutorial
A local web directory should be considered your "work in progress". This directory is on your computer's hard drive. You will need to publish this information to the remote web server for the world to actually view your web site.

Note: You do not want any spaces in your directory names, file names, or folder names when working with the web. If you would normally use a space use an underscore ( _ ) or a dash ( - ) to combine the names of your directories, files, and folders.

- The _private folder is for files that you do not want to be public to people on the web (once you publish).
- The images folder is for .gif and .jpg files (image files).
