1.  Go through Internet Explorer to access the following website: 

     http://chart.yahoo.com/d

2.  Enter Month, Day, and Year

Start Date:  Oct 1 2002

End Date:  Oct 22 2002

And Ticker Symbol:  (Example, EK (Eastman Kodak)                      

3.      Click on the button Get Data


4.      Highlight data table ONLY (including the column headings), and then select "Edit - Copy" from the 
toolbar at the top of your screen

 

5.      Minimize that screen, and then open Microsoft Excel

 

 

6.    Select "Edit - Paste" in order to copy the data into the spreadsheet, beginning with the first cell; click on 
cell A1 (Date) to deselect any other highlighted portions of the table

 

7.   While holding down the Control key, select columns "A - Date" and "E - Close" by holding the arrow 
directly over letter A and letter E
and then clicking on them to highlight all of the information in those 
columns

8.      Click on the Chart Wizard icon

9.      Select "Line Graph" and then choose the first Chart sub type; click the "Next" button 2 times

10. Title your Graph and then name the X Axis "Date" and the Y Axis "Close $"; Then click on the 
"Legend" tab and de-select "Show legend"; Click "Next"

11. Change selection to show graph As new sheet (see visual example below); Click "Finish"

 

**  You may want to make some additional changes/modifications to certain aspects of your chart,
such as in relation to the X and Y Axis, the Plot Area, and/or the Chart Title, by either selecting
options from the Chart Wizard toolbar, or by double clicking on specific information on your chart.
