Give GeoCaching a try!

GeoCaching is a high-tech treasure hunt that utilizes the multi-billion dollar satellite array that the US government has put into orbit around our wonderful planet.  It is a fun, family hobby that is catching on all over the world.  The game is simple, you get the latitude and longitude coordinates of a location where a player has hidden a cache - a container with a logbook, some trade items, and (in the case of an EduCache) a learning activity that is related to the location of the cache.  Your job is to find the cache container, trade some items (usually small items from the dollar store), sign the logbook, re-hide the cache in its original location and do the learning activity.  If you would like to learn more about the hobby, you can go to www.geocaching.com, sign up for a free account, and browse around their extensive website for more information - there are currently more than 6x105 caches hidden worldwide!
