The Living Environment (formerly known as Biology), is essentially the same course as has been presented in past years. However, there is a much greater emphasis on the students ability to conduct and interpret Scientific Investigation. Students will participate in lab design and determine the reliability and validity of data. Course topics include: Ecology, Biochemistry, Cell Structure & function, Genetics, Evolution, Human Physiology. Emphasis will be on key concepts. (See "Key Concepts" link below for helpful summaries throughout the school year.)
