Mr. Miller’s Integrated Algebra Class Expectations

BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS: 

·        TRY YOUR BEST!  (E = R)

·        No talking when I am talking.

·        Respect others and classroom.

·        Come in the room in an orderly fashion and be ready when the bell rings.

·        Please remain in your seat until the bell rings.

·        Ask permission to leave your seat.

MATERIALS:

Bring to class everyday the following:

·        Spiral Notebook (at least 3 subject)

·        1 Folder (for class papers)

·        Pencil

·        Graph Paper (blue ink quadrile paper is recommended)

·        Calculator (A TI-83+ Graphing Calculator is recommended)

HOMEWORK POLICY:

·        We will have homework daily. 

·        Homework must be completed by the due date.

·        I will be grading based on completion and accuracy.

·        Homework Completion Average will count as one test grade.

STUDENT EVALUATION

·        Tests – 70%

·        Mastery Quizzes – 15%

·        Homework Completion – 15%

ABSENCE POLICY:

Please see me to get caught up!

·        If you miss class you are still responsible for the content that was covered. 

·        Missed tests/mastery quizzes – It is your responsibility to come to me to schedule a time to make up the assessment.

·        You will receive an extra day to make up missed work for each day that you are absent.

·        Special circumstances are for special situations, please talk with me.

·        Any unexcused absence will result in a detention.
