Kids Project Puppets

Kids Project is a program sponsored by The American Red Cross and the FInger Lakes Developmental Disabilty Service Office.  Using puppets, students are trained in the Drama II Class in the Japanese style of "bunraku" puppetry.  After completing training, students travel to various schools throughout the city of Rochester and Monroe County to teach third-graders about disability awareness.

In addition to watching four vignettes, the students are invited to ask their new, disabled friends questions about their disabilities and their lives.
