IHS Gets National Recognition

 Irondequoit High School continues to be recognized as one of the most outstanding high schools in the nation. The 2011 Washington Post “High School Challenge” ranking lists IHS as among the top 2 percent of American high schools. This list was formerly published in Newsweek magazine. Newsweek has now developed its own list of the top 1,000 schools, using slightly different criteria. IHS placed on that list as well.
