Health Education Expectations

Welcome to 7th grade Health!  I'm sure you will find this class enjoyable and helpful to you.

Average:  Collected Class Assignments, Homework and Tests - Your Points

Homework Policy:

    ◊ Points will be taken off for "GOBBLEY - GOOP!"

    ◊ Late H.W.: 1/2 credit for late H.W. - this doesn't apply to students who are absent, they will be given the same amount of time as others.  Example: The H.W. is  worth 12/12 points - late H.W.: starts out 6/12

    ◊ Copying other's H.W. or allowing someone to copy your H.W. (complicity) is cheating.  Students involved in cheating will receive no points for that assignment.  The "Honesty Policy" is in your planner on page__) (What do you think are the consequences for dishonesty in college or on a job?)

Effort Grade:  4 P's will be considered for your report card effort grade.  (Prompt, Prepared, Productive and Polite)

Class Materials:  You will need the following:

      ◊  A folder with two pockets, 5 sheets of paper and a writing utensil

Expectations:

    ◊     You and your stuff need to be in your seat when the bell rings!

    ◊     Completing assignments on time

    ◊    Taking the responsibility to make up work if you have been absent.  Asking for help when you need it, therefore writing on a test: "I was not here for this lesson." is unacceptable!!  Any blank answers on a test will be marked wrong.

    ◊    No extra credit after the fact:  "I didn't study for my test, can you give me some extra credit assignments to boost my unit average?"  Sorry, no 'special order' extra credit assignments.  Extra credit opportunities will be available to the entire class through out the semester, take advantage of them.
