Attention all students who have a friend or family member serving in our armed forces: If you would like to have some of the letters that students wrote to soldiers on PEACE DAY sent to your loved one, please give their address to Mrs. Pincelli in room 353 by the end of this week. Thank you!
Dake Dance…. Don’t forget! The only way to get a ticket to the THANKS-FOR-GIVING DANCE is to give to the community cupboard. Bring 3 non-perishable items to homeroom before Friday, November 20th, and receive your dance ticket. Don’t miss out! No tickets will be given out Friday afternoon or at the door of the dance.
Please stop by the Health Office to pick up your athletic forms if you are going to do a winter sport.
Do you want to thank someone for something they did? Fill out a praise form from the main office and turn it in to Mrs. Quinlan. It will be read on the announcements and it will be hung up outside the main office.
Geography Awareness Week Welcome to “Geography Awareness Week” celebrated at our school this week. Over the course of the week, we are having Awareness Questions each day to educate each of us on the important contributions of geography in our lives. TODAY- will be “Geography T-Shirt/Sweatshirt Day” at Dake. Any student or staff member who wears a shirt with the name of their favorite or a famous place can enter a drawing for a grand prize next Friday. Many thanks to our Dake PTSA for sponsoring---by providing all of our prizes! For more information, please see Mr. Schockow in room 319.
