PTSA News

With the end of the year fast approaching, we would like to take a moment to thank all of our hard working and dedicated PTSA volunteers. Each of you, in your own way, helps to make Brookview School the best place for our children.

Kim Bohrer: Playlist Coordinator and Next-to-New Coordinator; Grace Crowley: School Pictures Coordinator;  Erica Kiley: Event Photographer and Memory Book Coordinator; Eileen & Bob Phillips: BoxTops Coordinators;  Alana Colbey & Keri Colicchio:  Book Fair Coordinators; Alana Colbey: Publishing Center Coordinator; Keri Colicchio: Red Ribbon Coordinator; Teresa Piedmont: Reflections Coordinator; Cynthia Schluter: Spiritwear Coordinator and Shannon Constantino:  PTSA Membership Coordinator.

A sincere thank you goes to all of our Room Parents for their efforts throughout the year.  The Brookview teachers truly appreciate your time and dedication, especially for their creativity and organization during Staff Appreciation Week. Your generosity is greatly appreciated; thank you very much.

Reminder from our Nurse’s Office:

New York State Education Law requires a physical examination for all students in 1st, 3rd, 7th,
and 10th grades! Forms are available on the District Web site at www.westirondequoit.org. Click on District and download form.

Bus Reminder:

Please do not park in the bus loop during drop-off and pick-up times. At Brookview, the times are: 8:40 – 9:00 a.m. and 2:55 – 3:30 p.m. Your cooperation is appreciated. Our goal is to keep everyone safe, while ensuring a smooth arrival and dismissal for all of our students. Please remind anyone you designate to pick up your child of this request. Thank you.

We are in need of gently worn children’s clothing to use in our “accident box.” If you have any clothing that you would like to donate, please send it to school for our school nurse.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Please remember to call our school office whenever your child will be absent or tardy.  Our voice mail service is available 24 hours a day.  Also, be sure to follow up your child's absence with a written excuse.  Thank you.
