United Streaming to Supplement New Social Studies Curriculum

To support the social studies instruction at grade three, students viewed videos.

Objectives:

Student assessments per unit design.  (A collection of letters from around the world.).

 

Student Materials/Resources:
(specific materials the students must have to complete the lesson, e.g. calculators, construction paper, finger paints, etc.)


note taking cards, organizers or notebooks;  computer(s) with Internet access if students view in small groups or individually

 

Procedures:

Students view video as a class, small groups, partners or individually.  Students take notes.  After the video students discuss the main points as they relate to the components of culture.

 

Assessment:

Students are assessed at the end of each unit.
