and easy to hard levels, review other student written stories and poems, play
puffins games, view a puffin video clip, tour the Iceland Aquarium and
Museum, and gather other information and puffins, Iceland, and related
information.

Procedures:

I introduced the site whole group with students watching on the
tv screen. In pairs students
investigated the site, gathering any background knowledge they could and then
having fun with all their was to offer.
Students used this info in their discussion groups after we were done
with the story.
Next time I would have a specific response for them to answer in
their response journals.
