Procedures:

For best
results, teachers should use a digital projector to display the “Who wants to
be a Millionaire” powerpoint game on to a large
screen. Audio speakers are also recommended
(computer speakers are okay). The
students should be rewarded for achieving the $1000, $32,000, and $1,000,000
levels (ie. Candy, or
extra credit on test). The teacher can
pre-select an order in which the students will be asked a question. The students can answer the question on
their own, or use one of the classes 3 “life-lines”. The 3 “life-lines” are phone-a-friend
(student can select a classmate to get help with the question), ask the
audience (the entire class is asked to contribute an answer), and 50/50
(teacher eliminates 2 wrong answers).
