Title:

VICTORia Muscle Madness

Brief Description:

Students will enter data into the program VICTORia, in which will design a 3-5 day work out plan they can use in the fitness center.

Objectives:

Psychomotor:  Students will fill in the VICTORia program with information for their height, weight, work out experience, and prior knowledge of weight lifting.

Cognitive:  Students will view how to complete the different exercises given on their work out plans.  They will learn incorrect and correct lifting forms for each activity.  

Affective:  Students will practice different lifting techniques.

Students will…

  1. View with the teacher explanation the correct and incorrect lifting techniques
  2. A video clip will show proper techniques
  3. Practice the lifting technique of the day

 

 

Assessment:

Students safely follow station lifting, using all the proper lifting techniques shown for the class.
