Title:

VICTORia Workout Plan

Brief Description:

Students will enter data into the program VICTORia, in which will design a 3-5 day work out plan they can use in the fitness center.

Objectives:

Psychomotor:  Students will fill in the VICTORia program with information for their height, weight, work out experience, and prior knowledge of weight lifting.

Cognitive:  Students will view how to complete the different exercises given on their work out plans.  They will learn incorrect and correct lifting forms for each activity.  Student will also learn about how much cardio they should do to achieve their work out goals. 

Affective:  Students will track their work outs on the laptop stations for five class periods.

Students will…

  1. fill out VICTORia program
  2. follow day by day the set program and play the video from the program to review correct lifting techniques
  3. print out final completed program sheet

 

Assessment:

Students have accurately and safely followed all weight room procedures.  The students program sheets are filled out and submitted to the teacher.
