Brief Description:

Students will view various Lewis Hine photos to determine the impact of the Industrial Revolution on children and the need for Child Labor laws.

Students will identify various aspects of child labor and will answer the Essential Question:  What was the impact of the Industrial Revolution on Children?

Procedures:

Students will view the Lewis Hine photographs of Child Labor in the early 1900’s and will answer the questions provided.

 

Assessment:

Students will write a thematic essay that answers the essential question: What was the impact of the Industrial Revolution on Children?
