students will help create a slide show for Open House by creating a list of
important parts of a second grade student’s day, and developing captions that
connect to each photo.

Procedures:
|
Pictures
need to be taken throughout the day to capture a typical day of second
grade. It would be helpful to ask the
Library clerk or parent to help with this responsibility. Arrange pictures in photo show program in
order of appearance. Have students
help create appropriate captions to accompany each slide.

A
successful slide show with pictures of a typical day and captions.

Special Comments:
|
This builds
excitement in students to promote Open House to increase parent
involvement. The students love seeing
themselves in the slide show.
