1.  Your part of the presentation has at least 5 slides/letters.  One of those letters is a g, s, l, m, or the title slide.  The g, s, l, or m slides have a definition for gas, solid, liquid, or matter.  Of the remaining letters you are assigned, at least 1 is a gas, and at least 1 is a liquid.  (40 points)

 

 

2.  Your part of the presentation goes above and beyond by “over” explaining some items.  For example:  C is for cat.  A cat is a solid (fur), a liquid (blood), and a gas (hydrogen).  Or you might include what you know about the atomic or molecular structure of the item you are explaining.  For example:  An apple is a solid, the atoms that make up a solid are close together in a fixed pattern.  This type of explanation shows that you know what a gas, a liquid, and a solid really are!  You may include information about matter that we didn’t even think to ask you!  This is done on at least half the slides you are assigned to create.  (10 points)

 

 

3.  You are able to master Power Point basics (create a frame, insert text and a graphic, transition from frame to frame, save your presentation to a disk, etc.).  (15 points)

 

 

4.  Your part of the presentation has complete sentences, correct punctuation and spelling.  Sentences are well developed (compound, mature vocabulary).  (15 points)

 

 

5.  The finished project has all 26 letters and includes a title slide with title and group members’ first and last names on it.  (5 points)

 

 

6.  The finished project includes at least 5 gases, and 5 liquids.  (5 points)

 

 

7.  The finished project has definitions for gas, liquid, matter, and solid on the g, l, m, and s slides.  (5 points)

 

 

8.  Your group works well together and it is reflected in your final project.  (5 points)
