Some West Irondequoit first graders are participating in a continent-wide Internet project! "Journey North" is a scientific project hosted by Minnesota that tracks spring's journey north through North America through the study of migratory birds and animals as well as other spring events such as tulips blooming, the ice-out, and the emergence of the spring peepers. Here are some of our first graders planting tulip bulbs, which will first grow roots, then wait for spring to emerge from the ground and bloom. Click on a picture to see it full-size.
